Ben Letta’s First Blog Post

So, here I am at Hofstra, and I am blogging in my dorm. I wake up around 8:00 am to get ready for class online. I got dressed and wore a heavy coat and gloves to leave my room. I went outside the residence hall to get breakfast. The sidewalk was slushy with a little snow making it hard to walk on. I went to Starbucks in the Student Center to get a bagel and warm cup of coffee. I walked back to my residence hall with my coffee. My classes don’t start around the afternoon so I have some time to relax or check on any updates from the school.

Writing online makes me feel focused but also comfortable doing it in my room even if there’s some limited space for my textbooks. Sometimes my chair will rock back and forth when I lean on it while writing on my laptop. I’ll still focus on writing my work even if it’s in. I would take some notes on paper when my online work is missing. I stayed on task most of the day and wasn’t absent for any of them. I would prefer to go in person to just get active outside and not just stay inside all day. Once I’m done with classes today, I do some work the professors assign me with and try to get it done on time. Sometimes listening to music or eating a meal while writing can help me concentrate a bit.
